Late Fall in Denali.

We headed up to Denali National Park and Preserve early Tuesday, Sept. 14th for what will most likely be our last trip of the year. It was raining hard all the way from Anchorage to Cantwell, where the rain stopped and the weather kept getting better and better as we got to the Park entrance.

It’s always a good sign when the mountain is out as you drive into the Teklanika campground. This was a short trip with gorgeous colors and not very many animals at all, in fact, the fewest we’ve ever seen on a trip, but it’s still our favorite place on earth, so come along for the ride.
