Without a doubt, some of the strongest and most active aurora we’ve had in years here in Anchorage. We rarely get to see red aurora, but last night was off the charts. I haven’t seen aurora this colorful or active here in Bear Valley in a long time. Colors changed by the second. Patterns danced across the sky from horizon to horizon, filling the sky with angels or demons, or mythical birds depending on your outlook. It truly was a magical night, filled with awe and wonder.
