We made our first trip of the year up to Denali National Park and Preserve, spending a full week camped at the Teklanika campground 29 miles inside the park. We spent 5 full days mountain biking the park road from Tek to the East Fork River and back, almost 200 miles of biking. It’s our favorite place on earth, and it’s even better when they get the weather forecast wrong and we ended up having really good weather most of the stay. I got rained on one afternoon pedaling between the top of Sable Pass and the East Fork bridge.
